Pets are always pleased to see their owner, especially when there is food. During the pandemic, more people have got pets. Without social interactions, some people have reached out and connected with their furry friends to make sure that they get the attention and love that they crave and usually get from people.

The number of people looking for flats to rent in the United Kingdom that allow pets has increased in recent years. However, locating a list of the top pet-friendly landlords might be a bit of a challenge. There are 17 million homes in the UK that own at least one pet,contributing to the nation’s well-known reputation as a dog-loving country. 1. Zoopla features a pet filter. How to Look: Click ‘Filter Results’ after a property search. If your search location has pet-friendly rentals, a ‘Pets Allowed’ checkbox will appear under ‘Letting Type’

2. Visit Pet Friendly Apartments to find a new home where pets are permitted. You may choose premium apartments in the city or comfortable homes in the suburbs. Their portfolio of pet-friendly rental houses will give more than enough options.

3. SpareRoom is the UK’s biggest flatshare site. Their site lets you find pet-friendly rooms. Select the Advanced Search option and mark the ‘Pets Considered’ checkbox.

According to Towergate Insurance, Southampton is the UK’s most pet-friendly location for renters, doing well in all categories, especially the absence of rent price ‘penalties’ for pet owners. In addition, the city has a reduced anticipated amount of neighbour complaints about pets.  Nottingham and Manchester rounded out the top three ‘pet friendly’ places in the UK for tenants, ranking second and third. Derby and Birmingham were close, finishing fourth and fifth in the rankings.

If the place you live is near parks, open spaces and countryside, it is more likely to accept pets. In cities, there are some wonderful parks and th flats and houses around these green areas are more likely to be pet-friendly
